The Student registration fee category is open to both Australian and international social work students. Australian students need to be enrolled in a Bachelor of Social Work or Master of Social Work. International students need to be enrolled in a course comparable to an Australian Bachelor or a Master of Social Work. Please note that PhD students are not eligible for this fee category.

To register under the student category, attendees are required to upload a digital copy of one of the following:

  • A copy of your student card, or
  • An official letter on your institution's letterhead which demonstrates your current enrolment in an accredited social work program or
  • A certified copy of your transcript, confirmation of enrolment notice, letter of offer or eQuals link as evidence of your eligibility.

If you provide false information, you will be required to pay the difference between what you register for, and your correct membership category registration cost, or otherwise your registration will be cancelled.

To register under the Low Resource Country fee category, you must reside or practice permanently in one of the countries listed in the LRC as categorised by the World Bank as at January 2024. Please refer to the list of Low Resource Countries (LRC) to determine your eligibility.
