The Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) is a not-for-profit charity, we are the professional body for social workers in Australia. As well as representing and supporting social workers in their essential work, we set the benchmarks for professional education and practice in social work.

AASW’s membership of more than 17,000 social workers includes Accredited Social Workers, as well as students, recent graduates and other social workers who may be seeking accreditation. Our members work across private practice, government and non-government organisations.
