DV-alert, Lifeline Australia

DV-alert is a nationally recognised training program with training and assessment delivered by Lifeline Australia and approved third parties on behalf of Lifeline Australia (RTO 88036). The program is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services as a key initiative under the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022-2032. Since 2007, we have been working to build the knowledge and capability of frontline workers to reduce and prevent domestic and family violence. DV-alert is led by experienced trainers dedicated to ending violence against women and children. Our workshops provide a safe space for frontline workers to learn, connect and be empowered to recognise and respond confidently to those in crisis.

Headspace 

Headspace is supporting the next generation of youth mental health clinicians by increasing our capacity to support clinical student placements. We’re looking for students studying social work, occupational therapy, and psychology who want to gain valuable skills and experience, develop their career, and make a difference; to undertake their student placement at headspace.

Innovative Resources

Innovative Resources is the publishing arm of Anglicare Victoria, a community services organisation providing child, youth and family services. We create and publish strength-based resources for counsellors, educators, social workers, mentors, wellbeing staff and parents. Over the past 30 years, we have published more than 60 card sets designed to enrich conversations about feelings, strengths, relationships, values and goals. Trusted by over 50,000 professionals worldwide, our resources are known for their originality, practice wisdom and striking visual styles. LGBTIQ+ Health Australia (LHA), founded in 2010, is the national peak body for LGBTIQ+ health and wellbeing. Queensland Corrective Services

Queensland Corrective Services is committed to improving community safety by supporting individuals address their mental health and wellbeing to reduce offending risk and improve engagement with the wider community upon release.  Incarcerated individuals experience higher rates of mental health problems, self-harm, addiction, and other chronic conditions. This is often complicated by a range of social and personal issues such as unemployment, low literacy, and homelessness.  QCS has teams dedicated to providing mental health and disability services, including social workers, who play an integral role in rehabilitation and reintegration by providing evidenced based and trauma informed mental health services. 

Relationships Australia Victoria

Territories Stolen Generations Redress Scheme

The Territories Stolen Generations Redress Scheme seeks to recognise the harm and trauma experienced by Stolen Generations survivors who were removed from their families or communities in the Northern Territory or the Australian Capital Territory before self-government, and the Jervis Bay Territory. The Scheme is a financial and wellbeing package that provides payment and a Personal Acknowledgement to eligible applicants. The Scheme is managed by the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA).

Department of Justice and Community Safety

Forensic Intervention Services (FIS) is a specialist program area within Corrections Victoria, providing best practice evidence-based screening, assessment, and intervention to service users in the correctional system, to support their rehabilitation and reintegration into the community. Working mainly with violent, sexual, alcohol and other drug-related offences, FIS is a critical component of the Victorian Department of Justice’s strategy to reduce re-offending and enhance community safety.
